Our First Ever EcoGarden Workshop!

Last Thursday night, a group of brave souls joined us at our first ever EcoGarden workshop at Epicenter in Stockholm. Some of these people backed the EG on Kickstarter, some purchased the product on IndieGogo, and others were just interested in knowing more. Whatever their reason for coming, we had a great evening getting to know some of our fans, showing them the many features of the EcoGarden, and getting their feedback on how we can make the EG even better.  In fact, the workshop was so great that we plan on having more in the future to do just that – learn from you and deliver everything that you want to see in the EcoGarden.

So about last night… it started out with snacks and an informal introduction to the product:

And when the snacks were eaten and initial questions answered, we sat down and listened to Hamza speak about his journey of discovering aquaponics, becoming concerned about the climate, and finally founding Ecobloom.

We got a lot of great feedback and questions after the presentation. We talked about things participants loved about the EcoGarden, things that we could do a better job at in the future, and how everyone found out about Ecobloom. Everyone had a slightly different perspective and we loved hearing all of the different opinions.

After answering all of the questions, we changed up the pace and made some individualized Ecobloom tote bags! It was a fun activity and we learned that new team member Jayanath is a star when it comes to ironing – sorry Jayanth but you’re now the company ironer.

Who knows, maybe we’ll be going into the bag business soon too… At any rate, the first ever EcoGarden workshop was a huge success! We loved interacting with our customers and potential customers, and can’t wait for the next chance to do it again!

A huge thanks to all of you who came to our first ever workshop – what a great night!
